We have a true passion for operations.
=It all started when our founder Sheena Lindahl had the epiphany that there had to be a better way to run a business.
She had grown her previous company to over a million in revenue. But throughout the ups and downs of the years that she operated the business, there were always new challenges that popped up. And there never seemed to be enough time to give them the attention they deserve.
Her company, Empact, celebrated top entrepreneurs annually at places like the White House and the United Nations. Even the best young companies had these issues. She knew there could be a better way. So she created it.
In addition to her role as co-founder and CEO of Empact, Sheena has spoken on behalf of the United States State Department in Luxembourg and Ghana on supporting young entrepreneurs and has supported and advised young entrepreneurs on behalf of President Obama’s Young Africans Leadership Initiative (YALI). She has contributed to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development on the topic of Youth Entrepreneurship and Development. President Obama has acknowledged her for her work as a young leader in America.
Sheena has written for Entrepreneur magazine and been featured in a variety of news sources includingthe AOL homepage, ABC, CBS, NBC, and in USA Today. BusinessWeek named Sheena one of the top 25 entrepreneurs under 25 in 2006 and she was named to the Inc. Magazine 30 under 30 list in 2011.
